Jewelry design is an extension of my art training, interest and
experience. My work is characterized by clean lines, attention to detail
and relationships, iridescent color, as well as metallics against black
and is influenced by the work of Klee, the cubists and nature.
All of my work is handmade and the designs are original. I concentrate
on producing necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pins using a variety
of materials including:
*
sterling silver, copper & niobium
* fresh water pearls
* vintage & hand made glass beads
* semi-precious stone beads
* clay & metal beads
One of my special loves is Dichroic
Glass. Many of my pieces are one-of-a-kind but others can be replicated.
I have been involved in the creative process in one form or another
for most of my life. I received my formal art training at the Chicago
Art Institute, Northwestern University and the Illinois Institute of
Technology. I have been showing my work at local galleries, studios
and invitational shows in the Cleveland area for the last 12 years.
I am a member of the Ohio Designer Craftsmen, American Crafts, ACCI
and the Ohio Artists Guild. If you are interested in visiting the websites
